  I don't understand how anybody could give this restaurant a poor review. San Luis is the best Mexican food in town! I have yet to try something and dislike it - every single item on the menu has been delicious! The carne asada burrito is my go-to choice - always fresh and delicious. The meat is actual meat and I have never found fatty pieces inside. My girlfriend gets the carnitas plate and the carnitas is juicy but with that nice crunch on the outside. No fatty pieces either! Fish tacos taste just like you're sitting at a taco shop on the beach in Baja. The shredded chicken tacos are amazing (Friday special) and their fresh chips are phenomenal. Salsa bar has a wide variety of options and all of them are tasty.
  
  I read one review that talked about the staff being unfriendly. Not sure why they had that experience but the staff is always very friendly when we come in. Always ask how our day and week has been. I am always surprised with how hard they work and still manage to be so nice.
  
  Don't go anywhere else - come to San Luis!

  After reading all the stellar reviews, I had extremely high hopes for San Luis. After ordering the greatly hyped California Burrito, and my wife ordering the Chile Relleno plate, we got our food, which based on presentation alone, I'd give 7/10. The burrito lived up to its much talked about size, but upon my first bite, the flavor fell way short. Not much seasoning or grill time was given to the carne, and the fries represented the only real flavor. I thought some salsa from the salsa bar would save my experience, but it only made it worse. The salsa was extremely watery, and all 4 we tried seemed to have the same weak chile flavor.
  
  My wife and I both agreed that the Chile Rellenos were bland, and the cheese had no flavor. Normally I would expect a good Relleno to present a complex flavor (sauce, batter, chile, and cheese), but it was like biting into flavorless mass each time. Definitely a bummer.
  
  As for the ambience, we arrived to a half-full restaurant which quickly cleared out due to most everyone getting their orders to go. As we sat, the table was a bit messy, but the cashier was quick to clean our table before we sat down. As we went to fill our drinks, it was quickly evident that the ice in the soda machine was almost gone. Nothing like trying to drink a soda in a warm restaurant setting with 4 cubes of ice floating in it.
  
  Maybe we caught this place on a bad day, but the experience won't have us coming back to give the food another chance. The service and price were decent, which is why I'm holding strong on the 3 stars and not 2, but the quality of the food needs improvement.

  Been here four or five times now and have enjoyed everything we've purchased.    Place is clean and after entering always receive quick service at the counter.  Our purchases have ranged from quesadilla, burritos, tacos to full combination plates.  All have been tasty.  The one item we probably wouldn't purchase again the quesadilla again only because we felt it was a little overpriced for cheese and tortilla.   Though we've liked everything we got, the breakfast burittos are my fav.  I could eat those everyday.

  Best breakfast burritos. They give you a huge burrito for a great price. Definitely worth the portion size for their price

  This place is consistently good. Every time I eat here I like the burritos and salsa better. The great spicy salsa options are epic. Each salsa is best in-class. The BBB (bacon breakfast burrito) is always crispy fresh. Best in town!!
